Super Special Saturday Supercade.

Yeah, three posts on a Saturday Supercade...but be careful dear readers for this one might contain Blue Meanies. From the upcoming Beatles Rock Band game...can't wait.

Still Saturday Supercade.

Just goes to show that Conan is indeed one of us.

Saturday Supercade

There were apparently two different covers for the Berzerk board game, one with just pictures of the pieces on the board from an above shot then this second one which looks much better. Though I never thought of Evil Otto as being some crazy Warhammer 40K looking dude.

Conan likes Mario.

It would seem Conan O'Brien is a bit of a fan of Super Mario Bros. as his backdrop matches up with that of Super Mario for the SNES. Take a look at the comparisons.

"It is a secret to everybody."

E3 ends and we not only have a new Metroid game in the works, hopefully one not designed to give me heart palpitations like the last one, but a new Zelda is on the way. Click to make Gannon size.

"A tale eternally told..."

I've said it many times before but I absolutely love the Soul Calibur game franchise. It seems that the E3 show this week revealed a PSP version, one that demands I purchase it because of Kratos from the God of War series being included now...plus this odd looking English gentleman...his mustache compels you to agree with me.

"Go and find Kitty in the real cave!"

In 1992 this was the game that you could find myself and friends crowded around in our local, and I use the term loosely, arcade. Many, many tokens were pumped into this machine as well as jokes that were created by certain bits of dialogue.

I remember playing the part of Wolverine the most on this arcade game. I believe that Nightcrawler, Cyclops, and Colossus were the frequent characters chosen by my video warrior cohorts to battle the forces of the Brotherhood of Evil Mutants. I seem to recall Storm and Dazzler being chosen every once in a while as well.

For myself this game gave a thrill akin to that of Gauntlet. Four/Eight strangers working together to help each other out...unless we are talking about Gauntlet where a stranger might continuously push you into the mobs of enemies.
