o.k. explain the "no toilet" deal....
At one point in the house you enter a bathroom and it goes out of it's way to describe that there is no toilet. :)
weird...is that somehow important to the story?
Not at all...and that's kind of why it's memorable, because it goes out of its way to tell you there is no toilet. It would seem that the original computer game did have a normal bathroom but Nintendo was worried that a toilet might offend players.
Kinda like how it was a big deal that Hitchcock actually showed a toilet in Psycho.Of course, that was in 1960.

A blog concerning the gaming of the 1980's but I might speak a little about everything when the need arises.
