In 1992 this was the game that you could find myself and friends crowded around in our local, and I use the term loosely, arcade. Many, many tokens were pumped into this machine as well as jokes that were created by certain bits of dialogue.
I remember playing the part of Wolverine the most on this arcade game. I believe that Nightcrawler, Cyclops, and Colossus were the frequent characters chosen by my video warrior cohorts to battle the forces of the Brotherhood of Evil Mutants. I seem to recall Storm and Dazzler being chosen every once in a while as well.
For myself this game gave a thrill akin to that of Gauntlet. Four/Eight strangers working together to help each other out...unless we are talking about Gauntlet where a stranger might continuously push you into the mobs of enemies.

Wait, you mean the actual cave has her captive?
That's what I heard.
Not to be too immodest, but I was pretty great as Nightcrawler on this sucka.
I remember how freaked out I was that the Wendigo was actually in an arcade game. Then Shuma-Gorath showed up in that one Marvel fighting game and melted my brain.
You are not being Immodest, lad. In fact you've always seem to be able to play the jump-around type of characters fairly well.
