I believe that the Texas Chainsaw Massacre cartridge was the first game where you took on the role of a villain. I have never played either Halloween or the T.C.M. but I do remember very vividly a news report on our local channel 5 showing cashiers at Wal-Mart taking these games off the shelves and sending them back.
