Dambusters. Very cool - I've always admired the story of Operation Chastise's bouncing bombs and all the other bizarre weapons that people were desperate enough to try during WWII.
Peter Jackson is making a movie about the raid - or rather is re-making a movie about it. The one done in 1955 is still pretty popular from what the internets claim. I might actually drag my pasty carcass out-of-doors to go see that.
I still think the Bat-bomb has got to be the most awesome idea I heard about.
It makes you wonder how close we were, Hamm, to someone coming up with the War Wheel.
