Just for fun I decided to see if they did in fact have a high score for Aztec and they did. It was even mentioned that a referee was present during the play on the Apple II. I assume that Twin Galaxies had a home computer competition one day.

I don't even remember a points system in Aztec, only that you had to recover the idol and make it back to the surface alive.

I think you get points in regard to how fast you complete the game.

That explains it...I just liked to explore, hopefully get to use a stick of dynamite on a T-Rex or giant venus fly-trap.
