Jason Frudnick?

Possibly one of the toughest games I ever played on the NES. I in fact never beat it, but my grandmother can lay claim to doing so, I guess her not having to go to school gave her the edge up on this one.
This game also had, aside from Mega Man 2, the best dang music for a video game. I still hum the beginning theme from time to time as I'm working...like now. I never knew though the main character's full name was Jason Frudnick. Thanks Wikipedia.

Wait, was I responsible for you doing a "Blaster Master" post after I referred to Master Blaster earlier?

And yeah, this game was tough-ass.

So wait... you get your grandomther to beat games for you? Sure, plus 10 points for having a cool grandma, but minus several hundred on general principles.
