Friday Flyers.

I'm a pretty big fan of Paperboy but unfortunately was never able to actually play it in the arcade so I can't help but just kind of look in awe at the bike controller for that cabinet.

I've also not had the chance to play Miki nor Revenger 84, and I'm going to go out on a limb here and say that the first one is the title that I should be sorry I missed. Looking at the second page of the flyer really makes me want to find an emulator for it.

Sorry about no post yesterday but I was traveling back in time for a special event that I shall post all about tomorrow for Saturday Supercade!

Mikie is one of my favorite games of all time. I used to play the hell out of this game when I was still in my formative years. There was a pizza place near my neighborhood that had it in their gameroom. I have no idea what other games they had, as I never played anything else there - not even once.

Anyway, it concerns the adventures of a Cool high school guy, and his quest to collect all of the love letters that girls are sending him, while being chased by school administrators and staff who are hell-bent on making him sit down and behave.

The soundtrack is a really clean midi of The Beatles "Hard Day's Night" which I seriously doubt was authorized. What you have here is a poster for the American version subtitled "High School Graffiti" that's much more difficult than the original, and not tracked by Twin Galaxies.

Someday soon, I'll get my name up in lights there... some day I'll show them all! Muahahahaha!
